Doing Business In Vietnam & United States (0)

The entry-into-force of the U.S.-Vietnam Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA) on December 10, 2001, created a wealth of new opportunities for both sides. Now it is up to the nationals and companies of the two countries to make good use of the opportunity. The BTA is the centerpiece of U.S. efforts to open Vietnam’s market and promote reform of its trade and investment regime. BTA implementation requires Vietnam to make significant legal; regulatory and administration changes. It can be expected that as Vietnam continues to implement BTA requirements, American firms will benefit from more open and transparent access and fair treatment of U.S. goods and services.
